Carmel and Ricky’s wedding- Tonbridge School, Kent

Oh my gosh, what an incredibly fantastic day that was. Carmel and Ricky’s wedding was pretty amazing to say the least. Tonbridge School made for the perfect backdrop, and with all the love and emotion captured throughout the day, it was such a pleasure to photograph.

Coverage started at Carmel and Ricky’s family home for bridal preparations. I have to say, as somebody that grew up reading the Beano, I was pretty happy when I walked into the hallway to find the walls decorated in it 🙂 As a father myself it must be the most amazing thing to have your children by your side on your wedding day, for which I’m sure Carmel felt blessed to have her 2 boys with her.

I then headed over to Tonbridge School to meet Ricky and the guests. Tonbridge School is one of those venues that I have been longing to shoot at for a while, the Chapel where Carmel and Ricky would have their ceremony wouldn’t look out of place in Hogwarts. The day flowed beautifully and the weather was kind throughout.

And now for something a little different. Ricky is a band member of the very cool and quirky Ricky and the Hats, go check them out, they do weddings 🙂 Ricky and the other members surprised everyone by singing to Carmel during the speeches, you can watch the video here, it is VERY cool.

We really did have so much fun photographing this wedding, and I wish Carmel, Ricky and their little family all the best for the future.

Apologies for the size of this gallery, it was too hard keeping the numbers down, so I thought I would share most of them x x
