Chloe and Jo’s wedding- London, The RAF church, Grand Connaught Rooms
Chloe and Jo’s wedding, I will be totally honest, I was bowled over by the captivating beauty of their wedding day. I am a very big fan of London, I get excited like you wouldn’t believe when I have the opportunity to photograph a wedding there, and at Christmas too, the place was buzzing with excitement and joy.
I met Chloe and her bridal party at the St. Pancras Renaissance hotel. This place has a Gothic charm and upon my arrival it took my breath away. The main staircase there is simply jaw dropping, and it made for a great backdrop to some bridal portraits.
My colleague met with Jo and the boys and headed to Piccadilly Circus for some fun shots of them all, having London as a backdrop to your wedding images must be so cool.
Chloe and Jo wed in the St Clement Danes RAF church. This church has an amazing history, it was bombed during world war 2, the inside was gutted but the outer walls stayed standing, and you can still see some of the bomb damage.
After the ceremony we headed outside for confetti and for everyone to congratulate Chloe and Jo, always one of the most emotional parts of the day.
Walking through Covent Garden with Chloe and Jo on their wedding day will be a moment I will never forget. It was pretty damn magical, with the excitement of Christmas in the air and the hustle and bustle of the London crowd.
The guests arrived at the reception venue, The Grand Connaught rooms on a bright red double decker bus. Once Chloe and Jo arrived the celebrations continued well into the night with some wicked dancing and a band that totally rocked.
Thanks Chloe and Jo for such a memorable day, it was an honour.
