Holly and Giovanni’s wedding- Southend Barns, Chichester

What a journey this year has been. I can’t quite believe we are now in December, and as I write this post I think back to the amazing times I have had throughout the year. I have had the pleasure of photographing 60+ wedding’s this year, and have met some of the nicest people. I really do feel blessed, and thank my lucky stars that I even picked up a camera in the first place.

Now that we are in chilly December, it’s fantastic to be able to look back on my summer wedding’s, I am a summer baby and they certainly warm my soul.

I first met Holly and Giovanni when they invited me over to their home to discuss their wedding photography, I also met their crazy cool bulldog, who features in some of the images from their pre wedding shoot, go take a look, she is pretty damn awesome.

It was my first time at Southend Barn’s in Chichester. This is one seriously mighty fine place. I will never forget the moments in the wild flower field, standing in the warm summer sun. I met with Holly at the barn for prep, I was greeted with lots of smiles and hug’s, I knew this was going to be a great day. My colleague Laura met with Giovanni at the hotel just down the road, judging from the images of the handsome Italian men all getting ready, it’s pretty safe to say she had a good time 🙂

The ceremony was AMAZING!! I often find that this part of the day goes the quickest, maybe because it is an emotional roller coaster for everyone involved. Afterwords we headed outside onto the lawn, to capture everyone having a damn good time in the warm sunshine.

The day finished with a surprise firework display for Holly and the guests, lighting up the skies over Southend Barns.

Thank you for having us there Holly and Giovanni, I really don’t think my images or my words will ever do your wedding justice, it was a beautiful day, and one that I am sure everyone involved will remember for many years to come.
