Marie and Joe’s wedding- The Old Vicarage, Dorset
This year has taken me to many different and new places, some local and some a little further afield. It was my first time visiting Dorset to photograph Marie and Joe’s wedding day, and what a beautiful part of the world it is.
I made my way across to meet Marie for prep, it’s always a lovely thing to be invited into the family home to capture everyone during the build up to wedding ceremony. My second shooter for the day was the amazingly talented and all round awesome human being Alline, who met with Joe and his groomsman at the venue, The Old Vicarage. This is one fantastic Dorset wedding venue, with lot’s of cool and quirky details, it also offers a bit of a blank canvas, so you can really add your own stamp, which Marie and Joe certainly did, with some absolutely stunning flowers and table details.
After the very touching and intimate ceremony we went off into the grounds for drinks and photo’s. This venue really adds to the natural feel that Marie and Joe wanted from their wedding day, with some beautiful woodland and flower gardens.
I can honestly say it has been a real honour getting to know Marie and Joe, we had a great time on the pre wedding shoot around London, and then the wedding day was exactly how I had pictured it, Marie and Joe spending time with their loved ones, having fun in a beautiful venue.
Thank you again for having us along and being part of the day.
