Claire and David, An Asylum Chapel wedding, Peckham, London
Hey folks. What a fantatsic time we had photographing Claire and David’s wedding at the unbelievably cool Asylum in Peckham, London. I have some photographer friends that had photographed at this venue before, as someone that is obsessed with light (I know, I’m such a geek) I had been dying to photograph a wedding at the Asylum, so was pretty overwhelmed with giddy excitement when Claire and David contacted me.
And it didn’t disappoint. The light streaming through the large windows, and the colours/textures of the walls make for a fantastic backdrop to the photographs.
I have spent the last year really getting to know Claire and David, so it was lovely seeing them get hitched in front of their family and friends, many of which had travelled far and wide to attend the wedding.
After the wedding ceremony at the Asylum, we headed off to the Rosendale pub which is situated in West Dulwich. I am always amazed at how much little detail that couples put into their wedding day, the reception looked amazing!! Following some nice food and some very heartfelt speeches, the day ended with everyone on the dance floor, ties off, hands in the air, busting shapes and enjoying the music.
Thanks again for having me along Claire and David, it was a pleasure.
