Kylie and Duncan’s runaway wedding- Canterbury, Kent
Happy New Year folks. Here we are, 2017, all set and ready for another busy year of photographing wedding’s.
So for my first post of 2017, we have Kylie and Duncan’s runaway wedding, I had the pleasure of being part of their wedding day last October.
This one is a little different to the norm, as it was just me, them and Kylie’s good friend Jeska, who also made Kylie’s beautiful wedding dress, you can check out more of Jeska’s dress making skills at The Bridal Boutique of Jules.
I have never been part of a wedding this size before, and I can totally appreciate why Kylie and Duncan wanted to do it like this, it was the most intimate and relaxed day, no pressure, just them having a day together, walking around the very cool streets of Canterbury, before heading across to their family farm.
Kylie works in the wedding industry as a coordinator at the Old Kent Barn, one of Kent’s finest wedding venues. So when she asked me to photograph her wedding I was over the moon, I may have even done a little jig around my living room 🙂
I really do hope the images tell the true story of the day, and for family and friends gives an insight into just how amazing it was.
Thank you Kylie and Duncan, actually I don’t a million thank you’s will ever be enough, to say it was an honour is an understatement, and I will not forget the time we spent together during the day,
