Liz and Ben’s wedding- Westerham Golf Club, Kent
I always enjoy posting and writing about a couple’s wedding day, giving everyone a little snippet of the day and showcasing the moments and emotions captured. Liz and Ben’s wedding was pretty spectacular. February weddings can be very hit and miss with the weather, so the night before I had all fingers and toes crossed, and thankfully it worked, as we managed to pretty much avoid all of the rain.
I met Liz at the quaint Kings Arms in Westerham for bridal prep, while my colleague met Ben at his family home for groom prep. This is always a great part of the day to showcase in the finished gallery, seeing both sides of the preparation.
I headed on down to Westerham golf course, the venue for Liz and Ben’s wedding. The ceremony room had been decorated beautifully, and it was lovely catching the guests as they arrived.
After the ceremony we dashed outside for photo’s, it was a little chilly but at least the rain held off. The small woodland made for a fantastic backdrop to Liz and Ben’s photo’s, mixed with the soft light from the cloud cover, it made the images show a real intimate side to the day.
Back inside with the warmth of the venue, some very emotional speeches followed, and then the fantastic party, it was a real joy to see everyone hitting the dance floor and busting some moves.
Thanks for a fantastic day and allowing me to be part of it.
