My 2015 retrospective
What a whirlwind of a year 2015 was. To be honest I can’t quite believe that I’m sharing this blog, the year went so quickly, but my goodness what a year.
Firstly, on the 25th April I had the absolute pleasure of saying hello to my second son Otto, he’s the little dude sitting with my wife and our other dude Ethan on the London eye. I also had a wedding on that day. so I witnessed a birth and a wedding on the same day, a story for the grandkids indeed.
2015 was also the year that I took the leap, quit the day job and started photographing wedding’s full time, something that I had spent the last 2 years building up to. It really is the nicest thing, that a couple is willing to put their trust in me to document their wedding day, something that I will never, ever take for granted. For me a wedding day is all about family and friends, spending time with loved ones and having fun. Being a husband and a father, family is something that means so much to me, so I hope my passion for this shows in my images, capturing the moments between the couple and their family.
I’m so looking forward to 2016, with lots of wedding’s coming up, I have the biggest opportunity to develop my style, meet lots of new people and visit some of the most beautiful venue’s that England has to offer.
To everyone that took a leap of faith when asking me to photograph their wedding day, thank you so much, I would not be sharing this blog without you all.
