Sarah and Antony- The Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst
What a perfect autumn day it was for Sarah and Antony’s wedding. With the trees displaying all kinds of different shades of reds and yellows and that beautiful soft light, I knew it would be a good day.
As I do with all of my weddings, I met with Sarah for prep and my colleague Laura met with Antony and his best man. It’s nice to capture both sides of prep, and really adds to the finished gallery.
I then made my way to the church for their ceremony. What a beautiful place, a stunning church all wrapped up in autumnal colours. After getting to know Sarah and Antony in the run up to their day, it was so nice documenting the ceremony in front of their family and friends. It was then a short journey to The Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst. What an honour it was to photograph there. The venue is steeped in British history, and well worth a visit to.
The reception was held in the Old College dining room, a blank canvas for couples to come in and decorate it how they wish. And my word what an amazing job Sarah and Antony did, so many colours from the old gin bottles on the tables, to the big orange pumpkins, and with that low afternoon light shining through the windows, it made for a fantastic place to have good food and listen to the speeches.
The day finished with a fabulous party, with everyone busting shapes on the dance floor and dressing up for the photo-booth. So here is my take on the day, thanks for taking the time to flick through the images, and thanks again Sarah and Antony for a great day.
